Just when I ruled out children as suspects, I end up in a toy box. But what this tells me isn't that our thief IS a child, it's that he HAS children. Only someone who has kids could have planted a clue like that. But there is one other clue here I picked up. That typewriter is the same typewriter used to make the clues. The double hit on the lowercase i's are a dead giveaway, I had the same problem with mine at the office before we had Don Edgren come over and tune it... hey... maybe Don has something to do with this. He certainly has the means, and he's right around the corner from Miss Evelyn's. I'm adding him to my list, which now only has him and Dave Smith on it. And my tingling intuition is telling me Dave has been too quiet through all of this. This envelope has his fingerprints all over it. Not literally, I dust each one and their clean, but figuratively for SURE.
