Could this guy be a fireman? It would make sense... he'd have the tools and experience to climb through Evelyn's window. It had to be the window, there were no other signs of a break-in. But something else about this guy has been buggin' me: he doesn't fit the profile of a jewel thief. He's playful. Easy. He's going out of his way to project that he's not the villain. Maybe it's an act. After all, he left another envelope so he's clearly thought ahead. Or maybe, the one leaving the envelopes isn't the thief? Maybe... he's the mastermind? These are, after all, really nice envelopes…
