A Nugget of Never Knew

On the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, there are obviously lots of skeleton props. But are they all just props? When the ride first opened in the late 60’s, real skeletons from the UCLA Medical School were used instead of fake, plastic props because they looked more realistic. Almost all were replaced, but today, one real skeleton still remains, one that is a bit harder to swap out. Look for the skull on the headboard of the Captain’s bed!
