A Frontier Quest To Find a Supernatural Creature
A mysterious letter found in the back of a library basement archive details the existence of a supernatural creature in and around the town of Tombstone, AZ. The author of the letter? Unknown. The details of the letter, however, could lead to a treasure the old west has hidden for over a century. Do you have what it takes to uncover the author, find the creature, and claim the treasure?
You are given five clues that need to be solved at different locations within Knott’s Berry Farm. You will have to determine the locations of the clues by reading the clues carefully. Once in the right location, you will have to use what you find at that location to solve the clue. Once you solve all five clues, you can move on to the Final Clue, which will require the answers to the other clues to solve. Solving the Final Clue will lead to opening the lock, receiving the treasure, and completing the quest.

FAQs
What do I need to embark on this quest?
You will be given a game pack of clues, tools, and instructions. The entire game pack exists within a lanyard you can wear around your neck or bring into Knott’s Berry Farm. Everything you need to play, including the treasure, is in or connected to the lanyard.
This quest is not a race, you solve the clues in your own time and at your own pace. But be prepared: the game footprint can require alot of walking or moving throughout the Knott’s Berry Farm park.
The entire quest takes place within the Knott’s Berry Farm park, you won’t need to exit the park or ride any rides to solve any clues.
This quest is best taken during daylight hours. Knott’s can get dark at night, and some clue locations can be hard to distinguish. If you will be playing at night, we recommend bringing a flashlight or using the flashlight feature on your mobile device.
What if I need help solving the clues?
All Rabbit Hole Quest Craft quests come with built-in help if you need it. Using your smart device, simply go to the Help address for the quest (provided on the Quest Introduction card in your gamepack lanyard) to get the location of any given clue, a hint on how to solve the clue, or the answer to the clue. So you’re never left without the ability to move on should you get stuck.
How difficult is this quest?
We would qualify this quest as a 4/5 Hard challenge, appropriate for questers who can and enjoy solving riddles and ciphers, or enjoy escape rooms or spycraft. Having some knowledge of Knott’s Berry Farm’s geography is helpful in this quest, but you can use park maps as often as you like. This quest has been tested and enjoyed by interested questers 16 and older.
What do we mean by “clue?” Try your hand at a Sample Clue to get a feel for how clues might be written.
